There are children in need of adoptive homes. Often the challenge for prospective adoptive parents is knowing how to begin the adoption process and how to obtain a quality home study in a timely manner. I am employed by a licensed agency in Washington and can assist residents in that state with consultation, home study and post-placement supervision services. Clients can then use that information and completed report to seek adoption services using the placing agency of their choice.

Home Study and Post-Placement - a home study is an assessment process that includes paperwork and interviews that are summarized in a lengthy typed report. An approved home study report is used throughout the adoption process and is an essential first step to proceed with an adoption. After a child is placed for adoption post-placement visits and reports are needed to complete the legal adoption process (recognition, readoption and finalization).
