What is included in the Bricklayers Package Deal?
Once you complete the 7 Principles for Making Marriage Work or the Bringing Baby Home workshops with Island Sound Counseling you will be eligible to purchase the Bricklayers Package Deal. This package is available for purchase immediately following the workshop (and up to 3 months after the workshop). Once purchased all sessions should be completed within the following four weeks (unless another timeframe is agreed upon in advance with Island Sound Counseling). It is usually best to use this package soon after completing the workshop(s) because it builds on what you have already learned and that momentum and motivation is helpful.
The Gottman Assessment (100 research based questions) will be used to identify your strengths and challenges and will include a printed summary of your results as a couple.
Initial Session - Includes a couple interview, brief overview of The Sound Relationship House, feedback about The Gottman Assessment, and a plan to address one aspect of a challenge area. 1.5 hours.
3 Additional Sessions - 2 intervention sessions (1 hour each) focused on a plan and skill to improve a challenge area. Usually there is a suggested plan to practice this skill at home between sessions. The 3rd session is a 30 minute wrap up to reflect, ask questions, provide feedback, and explore next steps.
The total time commitment is approximately 6-7 hours. Sessions may take place at the Island Sound Counseling office in Oak Harbor, Washington and/or virtually based on client preference.
The cost of the Bricklayers Package Deal is $400 per couple. If this same assessment and sessions were purchased separately the cost would be over $500.
